Ann E. Bumpus

Senior Lecturer in Philosophy

In the past few years, my teaching and research interests have focused on bioethics.  Particular issues of interest include the morality of genetically enhancing offspring, the commercialization of reproduction (including paid surrogacy and gamete markets) and the ethics of physician-assisted suicide.
